Grass Valley UMC Staff serving you.

Rev Becky Goodwin Pastor

Reverend Becky Goodwin
I rejoice to become your new pastor! I am eager to get to know you all and explore God’s blessings with you! I believe that God puts all gifts needed among us to accomplish great things. I am an adventurous, optimistic soul with great confidence in congregations. So here I come! I want to join you in discovering your next steps in ministry! I have some long-time special interests that influence my ministry and nourish my spirit: reading and writing, Celtic spirituality, music, yoga, folk dance, and hiking. My life and faith have been refreshed recently by some new things. I’m exploring membership in a Benedictine “dispersed” community named for Saint Brigid of Kildare. I recently painted an icon for the first time. This was a prayerful process that deepened my relationship with Christ.. There is much more to learn about me, and I am looking forward to learning about YOU! As we get acquainted, God will knit us together in love for service in the name of Jesus Christ. I preach 21st century sermons making the Bible relevant in our lives today. The message fits our world.
